Hi Stephen,

I'm not sure what you mean by 'kick off', but with CAS clients installed on
your Java & .NET web applications, it's possible to authenticate to one system
and be authenticated in both without requiring the user to see a second login
screen.

Take a look at the 'gateway' feature
(https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CAS/gateway) or the proxy feature
(https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CAS/Proxy+CAS+Walkthrough).

Subject: [cas-user] sso java portal to .NET web app

Hello, I am new to this product and would like to know if there is a doc that
describes a SSO process for integrating user login to Liferay portal
(java)/tomcat that will "kickoff" a .NET web app running on IIS.

Thanks
