Statistics gathering and display is now supported by Perf4j. (See
https://issues.jasig.org/browse/CAS-825 for background.) The
log4j.xml file that ships with CAS has support for this enabled, and
you can view stats in a protected page linked off the service manager.
It provides some nice Google Chart graphs of authentication
statistics, but you could easily dive into the log file and dig out
data for custom reports.
