I'm having a hard time conceiving of the integration path here for the proposed use case. My understanding of CASShib is that CAS acts as the IdP. What Klas mentioned sounds fundamentally different as I read it -- he wants CAS to trust an assertion made by a third-party IdP. I'm not aware of such features in CASShib, but my understanding of that software is admittedly limited.
