You can configure Connect to listen to a different port than 80 and run a casified reverse proxy (Apache+mod_auth_cas+mod_proxy) in front of it. In Connect you can set simple http header sso, see documentation <http://help.adobe.com/en_US/connect/8.0/installconfigure/connect_8_install.pdf> page 62. It's working quite well in our university.
