No, but I have an idea: We too have casified Zimbra 7 using the same instructions you cite. As you know, in step 6, you 'remap' zimbra's LoginURL for the specified domain. I wonder, if you made a cname for your zimbra webserver, and only did this step 6 for one of the names. Then, you could tell your retirees to use the cname that you did not set up a remapping for, and have everyone else use the name that you did set up a remapping for. Not sure if that's exactly how it would be done, but you get the idea: 2 'domain names', one of which has it's login page remapped to the cas stuff, and one that does not.
