Hello,

I have been going through the documentation posted here to set up a local
server using the WAR overlay method:

https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Best+Practice+-+Setting+Up+CAS+Locally+using+the+Maven2+WAR+Overlay+Method

A little background:

The link above originally used the cas.version “3.4.2”. When I tried to build,
I kept receiving “Access Denied” error messages. A little research revealed
that the build process was trying to download a pom from a jBoss repository
that no longer is enabled. Switching to version “3.4.8” seems to provide a
solution for this particular issue and I have updated the docs.

However, I seem to be running into issues with the version 3.4.9. What happens
is, no matter which set of user/password entries I submit, nothing ever
happens. Basically, the request seems to be submitted and the page does a quick
reload. I don’t see any entries in the tomcat logs or the terminal prompt. If I
switch back to 3.4.8, I see proper log entries in the logs and page perfectly
displays error/success messages based on my credentials.

Could you please help?

Misagh
