The login ticket is a fundamental aspect of the CAS protocol and it's embedded in the login Webflow to an extent that disabling it would be a substantial undertaking. If you perform code review (starting with login-webflow.xml) and it's self evident, then go for it. Otherwise avoid. Also I'd encourage you to consider why you'd want to avoid the CAS login screen. One of the advantages of an SSO solution is that you provide a single user interface for providing credentials, which has some meaningful security benefits.
