The feature-lppe branch on GitHub should have everything you need to make it work for an Active Directory backend: https://github.com/Jasig/cas/tree/feature-lppe That work may support other directories, but it does not yet support OpenLDAP's ppolicy mechanism. Note that only LDAP password expiration is supported. Speak up if you want this capability for a non-LDAP use case.
