Does anyone have an opinion on this email I received: "This vendor provides the clicker (audience response system) devices and software, which integrates with WebCT and now Canvas for the U and other state U. They're still working on the canvas integration, months late, but trying to get it done by summer term. They are screen scraping the CAS login page to verify username and passwords collected by their client and sent to a registration server we run. They are also now asking for a test CAS account to help them test it. It would have to be production CAS, since the test usecure CAS is not available to off campus.
You may want to insert yourself into this process to verify they aren't violating any policies - it would be better to have them code it correctly then have to shut if off part way into the term after students and faculty have started using it.
