Sigh. The question is legitimate. However, you are the customer. I think you
are doing their job.

What you are looking for is possibly outlined in the “response” section of the
“/serviceValidate” URI, documented as part of the CAS protocol:

Subject: [cas-user] CAS Question from Vendor

We have a vendor that is configuring their application to use our CAS service.
They have a question that I've not encountered before and hope someone here can
help me find what they are looking for.

Is there a way to find out what the XML response format is in the CAS config
somewhere?

Thanks,
Matt

3. Complete CAS XML node for authenticated user. This normally ends with a
cas:user or cas:netid.

Typically, the validation service will send back an XML response.

What we are looking for is the XML response format that is returned from your
existing CAS validation service. An example of this is:

cas:serviceResponse/cas:authenticationSuccess/cas:user
