Seems like the logout feature of the Cas server does not fully works on the following scenario:
It should work as you'd expect in the scenario you described provided you're using a version of mod_auth_cas that supports single sign-out and that you've configured it properly. You should be using 1.0.9.1 or a build from trunk to get support for this feature. See the following for more info:
