Hi Bill,

Well to tell you the truth, I'm not sure if this a CAS issue or portal 
issue now that I'm thinking about it. Basically, the only thing that I 
have changed between both servers (cas and uportal) is the 
authentication connection information (active directory) and the 
replacement of the mapping username from uid to sAMAccountName. After 
restarting everything, I noticed that anything that depends on clearPass 
from portlet.xml is not working. So I'm thinking I may have jumped the 
gun and I may be asking the wrong list...this may be a portal issue 
instead. When I get back to the office I'll do some testing and verify 
that my hunch is correct.
