I am trying to use CAS for implementing authentication and SSO in a JSF web application deployed on JBoss 7 AS with the Shiro framework. Since I am total newbie to CAS I would like to ask two questions:
[1] is this a valid stack? I mean does CAS play nicely with Shiro and the JSF framework? [2] I am finding the CAS 3.5 documentation rather terse if not altogether insufficient. For instance the technical overview chapter: (https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Technical+Overview) has a number of empty sections. Are there any other on-line sources of information or books for someone wishing to understand how to integrate with CAS as a client application?
