Thanks to Abhijit and James for their inputs. The issue is that when I import cas ver 4.0 in eclipse indigo, and run debug configuration on cas-server-webapp project mvn tomcat:run I am able to bring the page http://a15036a1d.corp.ads.valuelabs.net:8080/cas-server-webapp <http://a15036a1d.corp.ads.valuelabs.net:8080/cas-server-webapp/login> however for https://a15036a1d.corp.ads.valuelabs.net:8443/cas-server-webapp I get Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage I do not see catalina log file However when I deploy the cas.war in Tomcat outside eclipse I am able to do https login and see catalina log file.
