I assume that you are able to hit your cas server directly (so you know that 
things like certificates are working correctly)?

I also seem to remember reading about issues with some of the paths; setting 
some path (don't remember which) to "/" rather than some other value (maybe 
"~/app.html") allowed something to work with respect to credentials (vague 
memory from a week or two back).

Try posting relevant sections from your web.config.

Good afternoon,

I’ve been reading about and testing the CAS client for .NET to use with an 
existing application.  I’ve added the necessary files to the Bin directory and 
added the required information into the Web.config.  Now when I visit the 
application, it does not redirect to CAS, it simply throws a 401 unauthorized 
error.

Any tips from someone who has successfully CAS-ified a .NET application?
