Hi, Laura,

Either your cas.properties file or the service registry entry for your
application probably points to a theme name for which you don't have a
properties file in WEB-INF/classes/. Look in that directory for
.properties files containing the standard.custom.css.file property and
compare their basenames with the theme attribute in the service registry
entry and the cas.themeResolver.defaultThemeName property in
cas.properties.

IIRC, the default theme name changed from "default" to
"cas-theme-default", probably late in 3.4.x or with 3.5.0.

Best regards,

Carlos.

Subject: [cas-user] Troubleshooting CAS error: No message found under code
'standard.custom.css.file'......

HI,

I'm in the process of installing a new cas instance and went through the
maven overlay process. I can login/logout perfectly using our ldap
authentication server through CAS as a standalone, but when I login/logout
through cas from my application I get the following message:

2013-04-26 11:14:39,922 ERROR
[org.springframework.web.servlet.tags.ThemeTag] - <Theme 'default': No
message found under code 'standard.custom.css.file' for locale 'en_US'.>
javax.servlet.jsp.JspTagException: Theme 'default': No message found under
code 'standard.custom.css.file' for locale 'en_US'.

It seems like it may be a redirect issue because the problem only arises
when using the "cas/login?service=" or "cas/logout?service=" pattern.
But it works fine if I log into cas from the login and then manually go to
the sso application from the same browser session.

Any ideas as to what I should look at while I troubleshoot this problem?
Or any common redirect issues/solutions?

Thanks,
  Laura
