I have cas set up with AD and that is working ok. Now I want to incorporate
google apps. I have followed the steps to configure cas with google apps, and
it seems to work, but not the way I expected. When I go to gmail.com and try to
logon to my google domain, I am redirected to the cas page and I have to logon
there. When I logoff, I'm redirected again to that page. But I expect SSO to
mean that I only have to sign on once to access multiple resources. This is not
the case.

If I logon on the cas logon page, I still have to logon to my google apps acct
separately. What is the purpose of setting up a service in cas? It doesn't seem
to do anything. I thought it would provide a link after "logon successful" and
allow me to click the link to access gmail.

Ultimately I want to use this as a portal so that once the user has logged on,
they can get to google apps, blackboard and other services, but I can't see how
that will work if users first have to go to the gmail.com page and then get
redirected to the cas page.
