Thanks Corey and Marvin for the response.
I'll forward your information to the systems administrators to look at
and will let you know if they have any questions.
Corey, more than likely I'll be taking you up on your offer and will
contact you for more details off the list.
Thanks again for helping us get started with a direction.
Laura :)

Hi Laura, yes we have done some work in this area, as we host both of our CAS
appservers in a pool behind our F5 appliance.
However, our configuration has taken the shape of a hot-standby solution, which
is perhaps not what you are looking for. In addition, we're still using Tomcat
session-replication and JPA Ticket Registry, which is very stable, but not the
solution that new CAS adopters would likely look at.
Please contact me off the list for more details if you are interested....

Subject: [cas-user] CAS load balancing behind f5
Hi,
My systems administrators here at UC Merced are wondering if anyone has
done CAS load balancing behind F5. If any of you have any information
that I can relay to them regarding your approach/configuration. If you
are doing true failover (session replication) and how did you go about
doing it? Any information is greatly appreciated on the subject.
Thank you,
Laura
