1)  That looks right, although you might want to use "serviceValidate" which
is part of the CAS 2.0 protocol:  http://www.jasig.org/cas/protocol

 

2) Is it possible for you to use one of the standard CAS "clients" to
protect your application?   Then you don't have to implement the protocol.

 

3) What error are you getting?  What do the logs say?

We are writing an application that needs to be SSOed through CAS server. Our
CAS server has version 3.5.1. What is the validation URL pattern our
application uses to communicate back with CAS server? I tried to use the
following but it didn't work.
