Joel,

We are currently using CAS with D2L and it works great. We actually have 2
setups for authentication. We have a Luminis portal that we have a custom CPIP
connector for that allows students to login to Luminis and then go directly
into D2L without logging in again. The second one we have is the CAS, for
users that just want to access the app without going through our Luminis
portal. I'm not exactly sure what went into creating the custom CPIP connector
for Luminis, but I was directly involved with configuring the CAS portion.
Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer for you.

Subject: [cas-user] Desire2Learn with CAS

Hi all,

I seem to recall seeing at one point that someone was using CAS to authenticate
their Desire2Learn instance, both for the browser and the API, but I can't find
anything now. Does anyone know if it's possible to use CAS for SSO, or are they
strictly a Shibboleth SSO setup?
