I've added 

http://casserver:9080/cas/services/j_acegi_cas_security_check
http://casserver:9080/**
http://casserver:9080/mywebapp/protected/*
http://casserver:9080/mywebapp2/protected/*

in the services list. 

My client webapps have 
cas.server.gateway=false
cas.server.renew=false    in cas-client.properties
