This document: https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Throttling+Login+Attempts
says that if you put a web-server in front of your CAS server, the web server
will log a 403 when the user has exceeded the threshold. This suggests to me
that CAS will generate a 403 error. How does it render that error? Is it
user-friendly, or does it just rely on the underlying java application server
to render the error?

Thanks,
