I don't believe so, but it should. Please file a Jira issue. The scope
as I see it should be a simpler mechanism for selecting the type of
expression, Ant or regex, instead of merely looking at the first
character, which is the implementation at present.
CAS-1241 is still open and assigned to you. :)
