Passwords are stored in the db as plain text. Ultimately, they would be stored as a one-way hash, but for now plain text is fine and should make things easier. I am trying to first simply establish that CAS connects to the MySQL db. Changing the MySQL connection credentials in deployerConfigContext.xml does not change my logs in any way that I can discern. Proper and incorrect credentials both seem to spit out the same logs, not much useful information I can find in either case. Is there something I should be looking for that I am missing?
