We currently have two nodes servicing our CAS implementation. Over the weekend I added two more nodes into the memcached servers array list in my cas.properties files on all CAS servers and restarted the nodes.
When we enabled the two nodes in load balancer to send users to the two brand new nodes, things went haywire. Services were asking for username/passwords, could not validate service tickets after the users were logged in, and so forth. It looks to be that the new two servers TGTs and STs were not being validated or trusted by the older two servers and vice versa. Are there any tips and tricks into adding new nodes to a load balanced configuration? Or is there something simple I am overlooking. I assumed that adding those servers to the array list would suffice and it should be a seamless transition.
