You know that “Warn me” checkbox on the CAS login page? Ours has been around 
for many years and is entirely broken, misspelled words, bad logout link.

Not once has an error been reported, not one help ticket, not one phone call. I 
assume users never check it.

I checked the box for the first time today (the embarrassing part). What a bad 
experience. Why does this even exist? Does it really improve security or the 
user experience?

Oh yeah if you wait too long, the service ticket expires and you get a 500 
error…

Can anyone give me one good reason to keep that check box?
