Hello,

When I issue:
mvn -e clean package

I get a build error that states:
The plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-clean-plugin' does not exist or no valid version could be found

I went to the repository website (http://search.maven.org/) and downloaded the appropriate version. I issued the following command to install it: mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=org.apache.maven.plugins -DartifactId=maven-clean-plugin -Dversion=2.6 -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/downloads/maven-clean-plugin-2.6.jar

The responses I get are:
Installing /downloads/maven-clean-plugin-2.6.jar to ~/.m2/repository/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-clean-plugin/2.6/maven-clean-plugin-2.6.jar
Build Successful

I've restarted Tomcat. But I still get the same error. I've also tried changing the -Dversion to match the version of my cas (3.5.2.1). I still get a failure with mvn clean package.

Any suggestions on why this is failing?

Thanks,
Roger
