That too :-).

If you started off with that Maven overlay template, you can't just
use it as it comes without some changes -- the ones that come to mind
are modifying cas.properties as needed and putting it in place (in
/etc/cas).  You may need to do the same with log4j.xml.  And there may
be other things as well.

Also, your log files should have some indications of what the problems
are.
