They are not available yet; I was just speculating over options that we
could make this work for all LPPE views. I don’t know how yet, but one
possibility is that once they are accessible, you’d get a ${userid} or some
such in the JSP that you can work with. (Similar to how you have now access
to the principal in the “generic login success” view)
I would expect changes to SWF are probably in order to make this work
eventually.

In our case, the login id is also the principal. Specifically, how would
‘userid’ be accessed in in LPPE?

Presently, no. There isn’t. Note that your login id does not necessarily
equal your principal id. While there is no principal for the Expired case,
there are login ids for all cases. If you are treating both the same in your
configuration, then making the userid available in the LPPE views would work
just as well.
Feel free to open up an issue.

Is there a way to expose a loginID in LPPE? We’d like to send a user to a
custom URL based on their UID when in either password Warning or Expiration
phases.
My take is that when expired, there is no primaryAuthentication.principal
when Expired, but thought it may be available in warning phase.
Initial attempt to make use of
“assertion.primaryAuthentication.principal.id” in JSP while account is in a
Warning phase was unsuccessful.
