Do you mean CAS 2.x or 3.x? I'm just asking because an email you sent recently dealt with CAS 3.x.

Hello
We today noticed that authentication fails when authenticating against
LDAP when the user's passwort contains non-ASCII characters like ö ä or £
While a user could authenticate directly to the LDAP (doing a bind to
LDAP) with these special characters, authenticating via CAS (2.x) always
will fail. Any ideas how to solve that?
