The cas-extend project is used by www.firstlook.biz. It was meant as a work around to some of our troubles with SSL and load balancing. I suggest you use the official client or the yale client unless there are requirements that you cannot meet, then try the extended client. Make sure to read the documentation thoroughly, as it says "Please see the documentation for this filter, it is not secure by design". It was done that way to add in the extra flexibility our environment demanded.
We would be happy to donate code if the official clients decided to add in features already in the cas-extend client. I just randomly stumbled across this "Extended CAS Client", which supports (among other things) configuration via JNDI. Has anyone here used this client, or has any thought been given to JNDI configuration in the JA-SIG client? http://www.discursive.com/projects/cas-extend/index.html -Matt _______________________________________________ Yale CAS mailing list [email protected] http://tp.its.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/cas
