The Program Committee for the 2006 JA-SIG Winter Conference is
pleased to announce
the following keynote sessions:
JA-SIG Projects in Action
John A. Lewis, VP of Product Development at Unicon, will deliver a
presentation
that explores an open architecture for the online campus, consisting of
several
JA-SIG projects (uPortal, CAS, HyperContent) along with other
open-source
applications (Sakai, JForum, Zimbra, Alfresco). It will include a
showcase
demonstration of all these applications along with several lightweight
integration
strategies.
JA-SIG Board Update
Members of the JA-SIG board of directors will discuss important new
organizational
changes, talk about key initiatives, and present status on projects,
including the
initial release of uPortal 3.0, as well as the uPortal
Roadmap. Time will be
provided for questions and feedback.
