CAS 3.0.x only supports this by customizing the returned response and the client libraries. So yes, it is possible, but it requires a little effort. You would need a custom CredentialsToPrincipalResolver to associate your attributes with the principal and then to customize the jsp that contains the CAS 2.0 protocol response.
