Just thought I'd let everyone know that we've released what to my best knowledge is the first alternative implementation of a CAS server.
RubyCAS-Server is a stand-alone application written in Ruby, and is probably a good alternative to the standard JA-SIG CAS Server for anyone who does not have existing Java infrastructure in place (i.e. if you don't have a Java app server like The server fully supports the CAS 2.0 protocol spec, and is relatively easy to install and configure (it shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes if you already have Ruby installed). You can find more info about RubyCAS-Server, including quick start instructions on the project's Google Code page: http://code.google.com/p/rubycas-server/ This e-mail message is privileged, confidential and subject to copyright.
