Supporting CAS2 "TrustHandler"s is a way to give authentication handler
developers access to the raw HttpServletRequest for examining it in
arbitrary ways. I'd think there's some value in that being easy to do
going forward, whether that's through continued support for TrustHandler
or whether it's by making it clearer how to get at the ServletRequest in
a newer way.
