JA-SIG With Altitude!
June 24-27, 2007
Denver CO, USA

This JA-SIG conference will offer the first ever JA-SIG BarCamp on Wednesday June 27, 1 - 5 PM.  A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants.  The name BarCamp was inspired as a complement to FooCamp. http://barcamp.org/.  Possible topics include:

  • FLUID
  • Bitesized uPortal Tasks
  • CAS Development
  • AJAX rendering
  • CAS Authentication to uPortal
  • Embedding CAS in uPortal
  • uP3 Architecture Overview/Q&A (like what we did that the dev meeting)
  • uP3 Dev tasks (TBD by May 4)
  • JA-SIG web presence

You can add your thoughts and ideas on our BarCamp wiki page http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/x/gQIs.  Or add your thoughts and ideas to a white board during the conference.

Another way to get involved in the conference is to give a kiosk demonstration.  Kiosk demonstrations happen in the hallways outside the meeting rooms during breaks.  We welcome kiosk demonstrations on any topic.  uPortal implementation you'd like to show off?  perfect.  Vendor offering you'd like to walk through?  Sure.  If you'd like to do a kiosk demo add your idea and contact information to the kiosk wiki at http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/x/VgER

Don't forget that early registration ends May 20, 2007.

See you in June in Denver!
