Scott,

I think this is a great idea as it is apparent there are plenty of new
people trying to start deploying CAS at their organizations! Thank you
for bringing this up! =)

As far as my $0.02, it appears that part of the confusion with CAS
clients is partly documentation. I know how taxing writing
documentation is and how little time anyone has, but it would be a great
help towards getting people going. I would like to volunteer my own
effort; however I am still trying to understand everything to a degree
where I can actually document it properly and accurately.

Thanks,

Andy

Subject: CAS Client Discussion at CAS Developer's Meeting

Based on recent emails on the CAS user's list, it looks like there is
some confusion about existing CAS clients. This would probably be a
good topic for the Developer's Lunch. I'd like to add it to the agenda
if there is any interest.

If you're interested in the CAS clients, please add yourself to the
list:
http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/JCON/Summer+2007+CAS+Developer%27s+Lu
nch

We'd be specifically talking about what are the "best-of-breed" of these
clients, where we are lacking clients, and trying to get resources to
release clients under the JA-SIG banner to help people find clients
easier and coordinate features, etc. (or alternatives to releasing under
a JA-SIG banner such as possibly creating some kind of matrix of CAS
clients and features, etc.)

Thanks
-Scott
