Thanks for the reply Scott,
I found a ppt presentation called: "JA-SIG Central Authentication Service 3-2.ppt", which introduces CAS3.
http://web.princeton.edu/sites/isapps/jasig/2005SummerBaltimore/Presentations/JA-SIG%20Central%20Authentication%20Service%203-2.ppt

The most important aspect I need to analyze, is relationship between cas and authorization.
Is shibboleth the mandatory choice?
If yes, is there any docs describing configuration of cas with shib?

still thank you.

Fabio,

The CAS 1/2 protocol document is described here:
http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/overview/protocol/index.html

There's some documentation on the overall CAS architecture here:
http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/overview/background/index.html

(CAS3 functions the same way as previous versions so those documents are relevant).  I can't seem to locate our design documents for CAS 3 though (if anyone knows where they are please send them to the list).

Hi,
I'd like to know if there is documentation about CAS 3 architecture ( and eventually protocol modifications respect to cas 1.0,2.0 ) to consult.
Thanks.
