The recent CAS 3.1 RC3 release includes SIGNIFICANTLY improved Google Accounts support (i.e. it actually works now as far as I know ;-)).
Its simple to configure so it should be easy for anyone to test out. It could be that your code isn't setting the acs url correctly. Are you using CAS 3.0.x? If so, I just recently did this integration a few weeks ago. I'll be happy to share my code.
