We are currently evaluating CAS:
Now we need to access the users roles of an authenticated user within a web
application. In J2EE this is usually done by:
request.isUserInRole("role")
Does CAS support generally the concept of roles?
If it do so, is there an equivalent mechanism in CAS? If yes, how is this done?
If not, are there alternatives to this and do they require any changes to the
system and what are those changes?
Any help or pointers appreciated many thanks in advance.

CAS: cas-server-3.0.7
Client: cas-client-2.0.11
Both on an Apache Tomcat/5.5.9 Container
Java version "1.6.0_01"
