Thanks for the suggestion Ryan, I am thinking I might need to go toward 
that route if I can't find a solution within CAS (I haven't lost hope :-)
The problem with managing that in a separate application is that I need to 
spread the way the passwords are encrypted in that application as well.
I would prefer to keep that in CAS only.

I still have a few ideas to try, before I'll give up. But I was hoping there
was an easy answer to that question...
