Jens, Apologies for a late follow up. I am catching up...
Very good overview. I can only offer these small suggestions:CAS stands for Central Authentication *Service* and not Central Authentication System.
JA-SIG is usually hyphenated. Adam Haeusser, Jens wrote:
I will be attending the upcoming Internet Identity Workshop ( http://iiw.idcommons.net/index.php/Main_Page ) in Mountain View next week, and plan on talking about CAS now that the 3.1 release has support for OpenID and SAML 1.1. I've put up a badly worded/rushed overview of CAS at http://iiw.idcommons.net/index.php/CAS - I'd love if more knowledgeable folks would either send me any suggested changes before the meeting starts on Monday afternoon, or better yet log in and edit the text yourself.
