Harry,

I put this function in a large industrial group more than a year ago (it is
a user choice and the cookie has a lifespan of 20 hours). The patch is
available here : http://www.ja-sig.org/issues/browse/CAS-366

There is a technical constraint with such a feature : you will have to keep
the TGT of the user in your ticket registry for the same period and this
might be an issue if you have too many users and you decide to put a very
long lifetime for this persistent cookie.

BTW, we have already discuss about this feature on the ML. Have a look in
the archive.
