Those directions are not for the JASIG CAS Client for Java 3.1 They were for the CAS Client 3.0. Since then, the uPortal and CAS teams have decided that the uPortal project will stick with the CAS client included in its distribution. At the point when uPortal starts to utilized Acegi Security, then it will switch clients (at the same time that Acegi does).
We recommend that you use the client included with the uPortal project until such time that its updated to use Acegi. I see that Andrew has already updated the page to note this. -Scott On Dec 27, 2007 1:27 PM, mycas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi All, > > I followed the instructions here http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/ > CASC/JA-SIG+CAS+Client+for+Java to integrate CAS with uPortal.
