I revoke my statement about trying it, unless you want your POST
requests to all get eaten by mod_auth_cas J I just found a bug.
Working on figuring out exactly how/why it occurs. However, in the
process of eating your variables, if one of them happens to be a valid
logoutRequest, mod_auth_cas will successfully sign you out...

I'll let you all know when this is resolved. Apologies for the
premature notice, but I suppose that's why it's a release candidate and
not the full-blown thing.

Phil,

That's great to hear! Have you had good luck with the Single Sign Out
stuff? As you probably saw we're also attempting to test the Java
client with single sign out. It would be great if we had two clients
supporting single sign out.

And when I ask for status updates for the newsletter in February, don't
forget to tell me about this ;-)

Thanks

Hello all,

Mod_auth_cas-1.0.7-rc1 is now available. This version includes some
pretty substantial changes from the previous version, mostly in how the
backend cache is handled. It also includes support for the CAS 3.1
server's 'single sign out' protocol. I've tested the code as thoroughly
as possible, but since the changes are drastic, I would prefer some
feedback from other users. If any of you are brave enough, do you mind
downloading the latest version from
https://www.ja-sig.org/svn/cas-clients/mod_auth_cas/tags/mod_auth_cas-1.
0.7-rc1/ and giving it a whirl?

If you do encounter any bugs (apache segfaults/strange log messages)
please e-mail them to me with as much detail as possible on how to
re-create the issue.

Thanks,

-Phil
