The authentication manager purposely has no access to the ticket granting ticket. The TGT id is stored only in the CAS ticket registry and in the browser as a cookie. The ability to see it is limited to the web tier (because it has to read the cookie) and the CentralAuthenticationService class which utilizes the ticket.
