Well first, you're going to find that in Spring Security 2.0 the feature
you're attempting to use doesn't exist any more, so for
forwards-compatibility, you probably don't want to have CAS rely on the
Acegi classes.
Second, by delegating SSO and authentication to CAS, CAS is handling overall
SSO and authentication of users while Acegi/Spring Security is still
handling your applications authentication and authorization.
