Can you please provide me any suitable link to the documentation where CAS SSOn/SSOut is discussed in conjunction with Acegi , so that I can understand it better ?
You have to use the version of the CAS client that corresponds to the version of Acegi or Spring Security that you are using. If you are using Acegi, as the documentation states, you'll need to use the Yale CAS Client.
