Hi, You can try turning on DEBUG level logging using log4j for either org.jasig.cas or for org.springframework.ldap and see if it gives you any additional information. Its most likely a misconfiguration with your CAS if you're able to access the remote LDAP server via ldapsearch.
The log4j.properties file is in the WEB-INF/classes directory. -Scott -Scott Battaglia PGP Public Key Id: 0x383733AA LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/scottbattaglia On Wed, Jul 16, 2008 at 12:13 AM, sathya moorthy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Dear CAS community, > > I configured CAS+LDAP authentication with DSpace-1.5 in local LDAP server > it is working fine, but i configured with remote LDAP server it is not > working, and ldapsearch is working for remote LDAP server. > while i login with remote LDAP i am getting following message in cas log > file > > [org.jasig.cas.authentication.AuthenticationManagerImpl] - > AuthenticationHandler: > org.jasig.cas.adaptors.ldap.BindLdapAuthenticationHandler failed to > authenticate the user which provided the following credentials: > k.sathyamoorthy > > Thank you, > > Sathyamoorthy K > Junior Research Fellow > Open Technology Centre > chennai > > _______________________________________________ > Yale CAS mailing list > [email protected] > http://tp.its.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/cas > >
