Hi,

You can try turning on DEBUG level logging using log4j for either
org.jasig.cas or for org.springframework.ldap and see if it gives you any
additional information.  Its most likely a misconfiguration with your CAS if
you're able to access the remote LDAP server via ldapsearch.

The log4j.properties file is in the WEB-INF/classes directory.
