You must protect your applications using a CAS client such as the JA-SIG 3.1
CAS client for Java
(http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CASC/CAS+Client+for+Java+3.1), which
handles single sign out as a filter
(http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CASC/Configuring+Single+Sign+Out).
Depending on the CAS client you use, it is different.
